Ever wondered what makes a beer good, bad or great? And what would be the equivalent of a cork tainted beer? Lucy Corne is a qualified and experienced BJCP (Beer Judge Certification Program) judge, Africa’s first Certified Cicerone, co-founder of the African Beer Cup and editor of On Tap Magazine - South Africa’s only print beer publication, amongst a lot of other things.
This masterclass aims to equip the participants with an understanding of how to assess beer in a beer judging environment and to provide useful comparable references that will equip aspiring and senior sommeliers alike to select the right beers for their beverage lists.
