For the past eight years, Capegate has hosted an annual we love wine festival in centre and last year was the first year they moved the beloved festival to the undercover parking. The event boasted a true festival vibe with live entertainment, food trucks as well as local craft breweries and wineries.
This year, the annual festival will evolve into a fully-fledged craft beer festival, allowing local breweries to show off their amazing produce as well as by-products.
Breweries include the very popular Abru Motor Studio, Boston Breweries, Hamilton’s Gin & Tonic, Stellenbosch Brewing Co., Kings Craft Brewing Co., Noon Gun Breweries, Shackleton Brewing Company, The Italian Job Brewery, Urban Brewery, Wagon Trail Brewery, Dutch Republic G&T and Hopman Brewey.
The Italian Job Brewery will be hosting a beer pong challenge, to partake, a group of 4 will need to purchase a R100 jug of beer.
Festival goers can also expect yummy food over the two-day festival from the infamous Truck Norris, who will be serving up delicious grub to pair with your chosen brew. Café Go will also be serving up some sweet treats and warm beverages.

Tickets cost R75 via Computicket and R90 at the event entrance. Guests can also enjoy one complimentary beverage of their choice as part of their ticket price.
