After 80 million years of peaceful existence, pangolins are being hunted to extinction. The pangolin is the wise old man of the African bush - it is revered by indigenous healers, who believe that it is sacred and brings rain.

Pangolins are elusive, solitary, without teeth and they make no sound. The most prized sight on any safari and known as the unicorns of the animal kingdom, these shy and enchanting, ancient living beings are the most poached mammal on earth.

Pangolins may become extinct before we have a chance to know enough about them. They need all the help they can get.

Join Professor Ray Jansen, Chairman of the African Pangolin Working Group , and Jeremy Borg, wine maker of Painted Wolf Wines for an enjoyable and informative evening.

Attendees can enjoy a three course dinner accompanied by Painted Wolf Wines. A portion of the proceeds with be donated to the African Pangolin Working Group.

Other sponsors include Chalmar beef and Dalewood Fromage. There will be a silent auction on the evening. All bids welcome.
